Riverina Dance Festival

The Riverina Dance Festival celebrates the achievements and dance education programs of public schools across the Riverina.  The festival features students from Kindergarten to Year 12 providing an opportunity for students of all ages, dance backgrounds and abilities to showcase their creativity and performance skills in a professional venue.

The festival is held annually in rotating regional theatres in Albury, Griffith and Wagga Wagga to enable equity of access to all students across the Riverina. In 2021 the festival will be held at the Albury Entertainment Centre.

The operation of this program is contingent on advice provided by the NSW Department of Education in consultation with NSW Health. All activities will adhere to the DoE COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.

Festival date

Friday 4 June 2021 (Term 2 Week 7).

Nominations

Applications for schools to participate in the Riverina Dance Festival are now open.

Complete and submit the Riverina Dance Festival 2021 Nomination Form by Friday 19 March 2021 (Term 1 Week 8).

An Audition and Information Pack will be sent to the coordinating teacher upon receipt of their Nomination Form.

Audition videos are to be submitted via YouTube link to Graham Smith - Festival Coordinator graham.smith70@det.nsw.edu.au by Monday 29 March 2021 (Term 1 Week 10).

Acceptance pack

Notification of selection into the festival and an acceptance pack will send to successful entries at the beginning of Term 2.
