The Strings and Recorders camp is open to public school students from Years 3 -12 who play violin, viola, cello, double bass, descant, treble, tenor or bass recorder, classical guitar or ukulele. Students who are not currently playing in a school group or orchestra are still welcome to attend.
The camp provides students with valuable opportunities to further develop their music knowledge, performance skills and social skills. Students experience instrument specific tutorial sessions, small and large ensemble playing, a recording session, evening concerts and a formal concert at the end of camp. They also take part in recreational activities run by Borambola Sport and Recreation Centre staff.
Activity for this program is temporarily suspended for the foreseeable future to support efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 and maintain the safety and wellbeing of students and staff.
