Arts Alive Stage 3 Gifted and Talented Visual Arts Camp

Arts Alive Stage 3 Gifted and Talented Visual Arts Camp - In 2020, talented visual arts students in Years 5 and 6 who have been identified as gifted and talented in visual arts from state primary schools are being offered the opportunity to participate in a 2-day program.  This is designed to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills in the making of art works, focusing on the exploration of a variety of media, techniques and tools in the areas of painting, drawing/mixed media, sculpture and printmaking.

This camp is an excellent opportunity for promising students to extend their skills in a supportive environment of like-minded peers and staff, and the opportunity to learn from professional artists.

2020 dates:

Activity for this program is temporarily suspended for the foreseeable future to support efforts to limit the spread of COVID-19 and maintain the safety and wellbeing of students and staff.

Nominations:

Teachers are asked to nominate up to four students per school.  Please note that spaces are limited.

Students selected must be highly interested in visual arts and must not have attended this event in 2019.

Cost:

$260 (GST-inclusive)
This camp is non-residential (camp fee does not cover accommodation, meals or travel).
Payment details are provided after students have been accepted.
